NOTICE TO TRADE SUBCONTRACTORS: ADVERTISEMENT FOR PREQUALIFICATION Sertoma Arts Center: 274-2026-CM-P-04 Monteith Construction has been selected as CMAR for the Sertoma Arts Center and is seeking to pre-qualify contractors to submit bids for the furnishing of labor, material, and equipment for the following services: 01A - General Trades 02A - Demolition 03A - Concrete 04A - Masonry 05A - Structural Steel and Misc. Metals 06A - Finish Carpentry and Casework 06D - Glulam Framing 07A - Waterproofing & Envelope systems 07B - Roofing 07D - Fiber Cement Siding 08A - Doors, Frames, Hardware 08C - Glass & Glazing 09A - Framing and Drywall 09B - Acoustical Ceiling 09C - Hard Tile 09D - Resilient Flooring 09E - Specialty Concrete Finishes 09F - Painting 10A - Specialties 10B - Lockers 10C - Signage 10D - Aluminum Canopies 10E - Acoustical Wall Panels 12A - Window Treatments 14A - Elevators 21A - Fire Protection 22A - Plumbing 23A - Mechanical 23B - Combo Plumbing/ HVAC 26A- Electrical & Fire Alarm 27A - Telecommunications 27C - A/V Systems 28B - Security 31A - Earthwork & Utilities 32A - Landscaping 32O - Fencing The project is located at 1400 W. Millbrook Road, Raleigh, NC 27612. The Sertoma Arts Center sits in the heart of Shelly Lake Park site in Midtown/North Raleigh. The project will disturb approximately 1.25 acres of the 23.44-acre overall site area. On-site construction will consist of grading, storm drainage, utilities, site improvements, paving, landscaping, and fencing. The building portion includes partial demolition and renovation of the existing two-story arts center, along with a new one-story addition. The expanded facility will feature vocational arts classrooms, a multipurpose room, and support spaces. The scope also includes interior utility improvements, as well as full MEP system upgrades. The CMAR and Owner reserve the right to reject any Pre-qualifications. Contracting methods will be through Competitive Public Bid in accordance with Chapter 143 of the NC General Statutes. However, only those bidders that have been prequalified in advance by Monteith for this project shall be eligible to bid. Any bid submitted by a bidder that was not prequalified shall be rejected as being nonresponsive.
