NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING GOTRIANGLE GoTriangle will hold a public hearing at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 to solicit public comments on its proposed FYs 2026 Program of Projects for the utilization of Federal grant funds from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) under Section 5307 of Title 49, United States Code. The public hearing will be held in the GoTriangle Conference Room at 4600 Emperor Boulevard, Suite 100, Durham, North Carolina. The proposed Program of Projects is included below and will become final unless it is amended in response to comments received. If amended, the Final Program of Projects will be published. GoTriangle will make application to the FTA for grant funds up to the amounts listed in the final Program of Projects. GoTriangle expects to expend a total of $2,486,782.00 in Federal Section 5307 funds for the below allowable expenditure between FY 2021-2025. Proposed project activities provide the amounts, and projected revenues are as follows: Project Activities Project Costs Preventative Maintenance $ 1,308,228.00 Replacement Buses 2,823,922.00 Total Project Cost $ 4,132,150.00 Projected Revenues Project Revenues Federal – FTA (60%) $ 2,486,782.00 Local – GoTriangle (40%) 1,645,368.00 Total Project Revenue $ 4,132,150.00 Supporting information on the proposed Program of Projects may be inspected during normal business hours (9am to 5pm, Monday – Friday) at the GoTriangle Administrative Office.
