Notice of Public Hearing The Housing Authority of the County of Wake has revised its FY2026 Annual Plan. The Authority proposes to establish project-based vouchers to support local affordable housing projects, institute a 90-day moratorium on HCV Portability and add Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act of 2016 language to its Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy. The Annual Plan, Supporting Documents, Administrative Plan and Admissions and Occupancy Policies as well as the Capital Fund documents will be available for public review and comment for a 45-day period starting January 12, 2026. The documents will be available on the Housing Authority of the County of Wake at the Administrative Office between the hours of 9:00am to 4:30pm located at: 100 Shannon Drive Zebulon, North Carolina 27597 A public hearing will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 10:00am.
