ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed proposals for the renovation of the Town of Hillsborough's Adron F. Thompson Facility will be received until 3 p.m. Jan. 29 in the Town Hall Annex conference room, 105 E. Corbin St., Hillsborough, at which time and place bids will be publicly opened and read. A pre-bid conference will be held at 11 a.m. Jan. 6 at the project site, 715 Dimmocks Mill Road, Hillsborough. Interested bidders will be able to tour the facility with the owner and design team. Work includes the renovating the 2,400-square-foot interior of the existing facility; demolishing a previous 1,200-square-foot wood framed addition; replacing the previous addition a new 5,000-square-foot two-story addition for offices and parts storage. A 5,570-square-foot pre-engineered vehicle storage building will be bid as an alternate. A PDF electronic file of bid documents will be provided to contractors free of charge. The Town of Hillsborough reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals.
