The Durham City Council will hold a public hearing on January 20, 2026, at a meeting starting at 7 p.m. to hear the following requests: Annexations Brittmore (BDG2500009) non-contiguous voluntary annexation of 5 parcels totaling 26.668 acres located at 8118, 8120, 8122, 8200, 8204, 8210 Farrington Mill Rd. Trenton Road Assemblage (BDG2500010) non-contiguous voluntary annexation of 5 parcels totaling 16.99 acres located at 4503, 4509, 4517, 4607, and 4611 Trenton Rd. Zoning Changes Brittmore (Z2400014) change Residential Rural (RR) and Falls/Jordan District B (F/J-B), County jurisdiction to Planned Development Residential 4.313 (PDR 4.313) and Falls/Jordan District B (F/J-B), City jurisdiction located at 8118, 8120, 8122, 8200, 8204, 8210 Farrington Mill Rd. Andrews Chapel Apartments (Z2400045) change Residential Suburban-10 (RS-10) to Planned Development Residential 32.680 (PDR 32.680) located at 1029 Andrews Chapel Rd. Trenton Road Assemblage (Z2500016A) change Residential Suburban-20 (RS-20), Falls/Jordan District B (F/J-B) and Major Transportation Corridor I-40 (MTC-I40), County jurisdiction to Residential Suburban-20 (RS-20), Falls/Jordan District B (F/J-B) and Major Transportation Corridor I-40 (MTC-I40) , City jurisdiction located at 4503, 4509, 4517, 4607, and 4611 Trenton Rd.
