Chapel Hill Town Council to Consider Special Use Permit Modification
The Chapel Hill Town Council will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Town Hall, 405 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. to consider an agenda that includes the following application:
1721 E. FRANKLIN STREET SPECIAL USE PERMIT MODIFICATION (PROJECT #SUP-25-1)
Network Towers, LLC, on behalf of property owner House Harris Holdings, LLC, asked to modify the existing Special Use Permit (SUP) to allow the construction of a new non-concealed telecommunications tower. The SUP Modification affects the parcel identified as Orange County PIN 9799-26-1213. The parcel is currently zoned Office/Institutional-2. The SUP Modification will not change the zoning district.
