PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PROPOSED CLEAN AIR REGULATION CHANGES OLYMPIC REGION CLEAN AIR AGENCY (ORCAA) Olympic Region Clean Air Agency (ORCAA) is proposing changes to their regulations to update the effective date for federal and state regulations currently referenced or adopted by reference in the agency's regulations Rule 1.11 and 1.12, changes to Rule 8.14 through 8.18, and revisions to the asbestos regulations Rule 6.3.4(a). On September 9, 2026, a formal hearing on the proposed regulation change will be held at Olympic Region Clean Air Agency (ORCAA), 2940 Limited Lane NW, in Olympia during their regular scheduled Board meeting which begins at 10 am. Comments on the rule may be submitted in writing during the public comment period, beginning August 7, 2026. Comments may be mailed to ORCAA at 2940 Limited Lane NW, Olympia WA 98502, or emailed to dan.nelson@orcaa.org. The deadline for submitting comments is 4:30 pm September 8, 2026. Oral or written comments will also be accepted during the public hearing on September 9, 2026, in person, or via the Zoom link on ORCAA's website.
