This project provides for construction of a new community park. Elements are: Site preparation including mobilization, clearing and grading; Parking and roadway work including a paved parking lot, gravel parking lot, construction of 57th Ave SE through the site and improvements to Wiggins Road and Yelm Hwy; Site Improvements including construction of a restroom, prefabricated picnic shelter, circulation pathways, kiosks, site furnishings, landscaping and irrigation; Installation of playground equipment (procured by the City prior to construction) and fall protection surfacing; Construction of a dog park; Installation of sport courts including one infilled synthetic turf field, 13 pickleball courts, 2 basketball courts, a soccer mini pitch and Lappset interactive play feature; utility work including power, sewer, stormwater and water systems; construction of a maintenance yard and maintenance administration and shop buildings; and other work, all in accordance with the Contract Documents. The Engineer's Probable Opinion of Cost ranges from $20,000,000 to $30,000,000. Attendance at a pre-bid meeting is mandatory. Prospective bidders must attend one of the two pre-bid meeting on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, or Monday, August 3, 2026, 2026, at 10:00AM, located at 5709 Wiggins Rd SE, Olympia, Washington. Bids received from bidders who do not attend a pre-bid meeting shall be considered non-responsive.
