NOTICE OF APPLICATION Notice is hereby given that the City of Lacey received a Conditional Use Permit, Site Plan Review, Class IV Forest Practices Application on June 12, 2026, for the following proposal: Application #26-0131: Calvary Chapel North Thurston has applied for a Conditional Use Permit to construct a 16,710-square-foot chapel on a 5.1-acre parcel zoned Martin Business District (MBD). The proposal includes a 122-stall parking lot, access drives, stormwater management facilities, landscaping, site lighting, utility improvements, and associated site development. The chapel will be used for worship services and related ministry activities. The project site is located at 4707 Park Center Avenue NE, Lacey, WA 98516 (Parcel No. 76080000100; Section 16, Township 18 North, Range 1 West). On June 23, 2026, this application was deemed complete pursuant to RCW 36.70B.070. This determination of completeness means that the application is sufficient for continued review. Pursuant to WAC 197-11-355, the City of Lacey is using the Optional DNS process. The City of Lacey expects to issue a determination of nonsignificance (DNS) for this project. Anyone who wishes to make comment on this application may do so beginning July 1, 2026. Comments must be received no later than by 5p.m. on July 16, 2026.
