COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG)
2026 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN
NOTICE: The Human Services Commission will conduct a public hearing during their meeting on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. regarding the 2026 CDBG Annual Action Plan required in accordance with 24 CFR Part 91 Subpart B.
An annual action plan (AAP) is required each year during the three-year period of the City's CDBG 2025-2027 Consolidated Plan. The City is anticipated to receive $337,498 in CDBG dollars from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for program year 2026.
The 2026 AAP is a planning framework that describes expected resources, annual goals and objectives, projects, geographic distribution, other actions, and program specific requirements. The City has recommended the following priorities to be included in the 2026 AAP.
Public Facilities and Infrastructure - $303,749
Administration and Planning - $33,749

WRITTEN COMMENT
Persons wishing to provide written testimony on the 2026 AAP should email comments to HumanServices@cityoflacey.org or mail them to: Michelle Chavez, Human Services Coordinator, Lacey City Hall, 420 College Street SE, Lacey, Washington, 98503 no later than 3:30 p.m. on June 4, 2026. Written testimony will be provided to the commission and made part of the public record.
