ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS MADRONA CONNECTION TO THE 337 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the City of Lacey at City Hall, Lacey, Washington until 2:30 p.m., June 17, 2026, at which time bids will be publicly opened via a live video stream. Links to the YouTube live video stream can be found at https://cityoflacey.org/rfp under the specific project section and on the specific project page on the Builders Exchange website for the following work: This contract provides for the installation of approximately 3,300 LF of 12-inch and 16-inch diameter water main across Spruce Street SE, 9th Way SE, Pacific Avenue SE (State Route 510), and Milbanke Drive SE. Work to include installation of water mains, service lines, meters, transfer of water services, valves, fittings, hydrant assemblies, utility appurtenances, connections to existing water mains, water main abandonment, tree removal, pavement, lawn, and sidewalk restoration, traffic control, and other work. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check for five percent of the amount of the proposal made payable to the City Treasurer, or an approved bid bond for five percent of the amount of the proposal executed on the approved form attached to these specifications. If bid bond is used, the five percent may be shown in dollars and cents or the form may be filled in by inserting therein, in lieu thereof, "five percent of the amount of the accompanying proposal". Check of unsuccessful bidders will be returned immediately upon award of contract. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities.
