NOTICE OF FILING AND PUBLIC HEARINGS VIRTUAL & IN-PERSON CUSTOMER HEARINGS (OFF SITE & PSC OFFICES) Joint Petition of Dominion Energy South Carolina, Inc., Dominion Energy, Inc., and NextEra Energy, Inc. for Review and Approval of a Proposed Business Combination Between Dominion Energy, Inc. and NextEra Energy, Inc. Docket No. 2026-186-EG Why is this Notice Important? • On July 15, 2026, Dominion Energy South Carolina, Inc. (“DESC”), Dominion Energy, Inc. (“Dominion”), and • The credit allocation is designed for the residential electric customer class to deliver a $10 per month credit over the two-year credit period for a typical residential customer utilizing 1,000 kWh of electricity per month. The amount to each electric customer will vary by actual usage. The bill credit will appear as a separate line item on the electric customer bill. • For natural gas customers, individual credits will be calculated twice over a two-year period following the closing of the merger, and DESC’s natural gas customers will receive a single bill credit that will appear as a separate line item on the natural gas customer bill. The case was filed according to S.C. Code Ann. § 58-27-1300 and other applicable law and the hearing is scheduled pursuant to Directive Order No. 2026-422 and S.C. Code Ann. Regs. 103-817. Intervenors have the right to testify, cross-examine witnesses, seek reconsideration of the Commission’s Final Decision, and must follow the Commission’s Rules of Practice and Procedure. Petitions to Intervene must meet the requirements of Commission Regulation 103-825 and must be approved by the Commission.
