PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT Notice of Public Hearing on Development Agreement Notice is hereby given that the City of Conway Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in the Planning & Development Department conference room, located at 196 Laurel Street, to consider a proposed Development Agreement, pursuant to the South Carolina Local Government Development Agreement Act, for approximately 67.49 ± acres of property identified by Horry County PIN's 338-00-00-0037, 338-07-04-0015, 338-07-01-0033, 338-00-00-0015, and a portion of 338-08-03-0064, located on Mill Pond Road, Church Street, Camelot Street, Carolyn Street, and Lochwood Lane. The subject properties are currently zoned Highway Commercial (HC) and Low/Medium-Density Residential (R-1) districts. The properties are proposed to be developed for commercial and multifamily residential purposes and concurrently proposed to be rezoned to a Planned Development (PD) district. At the public hearing, interested persons will have an opportunity to be heard. Following the Planning Commission public hearing and recommendation, City Council will hold a public hearing and consider approval of the proposed Development Agreement. The date, time, and location of the City Council public hearing will be announced at the Planning Commission public hearing. A copy of the proposed Development Agreement, when available, may be obtained from the City of Conway Planning & Development Department, located at 196 Laurel Street, Conway, South Carolina, during normal business hours.
