NOTICE OF ELECTION STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA HORRY The Democratic and Republican parties will hold primaries on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. Any necessary runoffs will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. Any person wishing to vote in the primaries and runoffs must register no later than Sunday, May 10, 2026. Voter registration forms received by mail will be accepted if postmarked by Monday, May 11, 2026. The early voting period for these primaries begins on Tuesday, May 26 and ends on Friday, June 5th. The following early voting centers will be open during the early voting period from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (closed Saturdays and Sundays). Voters without Photo ID can get one free of charge from their county voter registration office or the Department of Motor Vehicles. At 7:00 a.m. on the day of the primaries and the day of any necessary runoffs, the county board of voter registration and elections will begin its examination of the absentee ballot return envelopes at the Elections Office located at 1515 4th Ave, Conway, SC 29526. At 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2026, the county board of canvassers will hold a hearing to determine the validity of all provi- sional ballots cast in the primaries.
