Public Notice This is to inform the public of the opportunity to attend a public hearing on the proposed SFY 2026-2027 Section 5310, Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Program Application to be submitted to the South Carolina Department of Transportation no later than March 6, 2026. The public hearing will be held on March 4, 2026 at 250 Victory Lane, Conway, SC 29526. The Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Program provides capital assistance for transportation options and services for the communities operating in Horry County. These services are currently provided using wheelchair equipped vans. Services are rendered by Horry County Disabilities and Special Needs dba Ability Beyond Barriers. The total estimated amount requested for the period July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 is $85,850 with a $15,150 match by Horry County Disabilities and Special Needs dba Ability Beyond Barriers.
