ORDINANCE NO. C.S. 1420 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 2, CHAPTER 2.30, SECTION 2.30.040 RELATING TO TREASURY OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE NOW THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF STANISLAUS, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 040, of chapter 30, of title 2 of the Stanislaus County Code is hereby amended to read as follows: "2.30.040 Treasury oversight committee. Pursuant to Government Code Sections 27131 through 27132, the board of supervisors establishes a county treasury oversight committee ("committee") and after consultation with the county treasurer, the board determines that the committee shall consist of the following four members: A. The county treasurer-tax collector; B. A representative appointed by the county board of supervisors; C. The county auditor-controller; and D. The county superintendent of schools or designee." Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days from and after the date of its passage and, before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage, it shall be published once with the names of the members voting for and against the same in the Modesto Bee, a newspaper published in the County of Stanislaus, State of California. Upon motion of Supervisor Grewal, seconded by Supervisor C. Condit, the foregoing ordinance was passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Stanislaus, State of California, this 18th day of August 2026, by the following called vote: AYES: SUPERVISORS: B.
