ORDINANCE NO. C.S. 1419 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING STANISLAUS COUNTY CODE, CHAPTER 11.04 RELATING TO SPEED LIMITS THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF STANISLAUS ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Title 11, Chapter 11.04, Section 11.04.040 (Thirty-five miles per hour) of the Stanislaus County Code is hereby amended to repeal Subsection 109 (Toomes Road). Section 2. Title 11, Chapter 11.04, Section 11.04.050 (Forty miles per hour) of the Stanislaus County Code is hereby amended to repeal Subsection 94 (Toomes Road), to add Subsection 97 (Toomes Road) and to add Subsection 98 (Esmar Road) to read as follows: "97. Toomes Road. On Toomes Road from its intersection with Bacon Rd to its intersection with Cicarelli Road;" "98. Esmar Road. On Esmar Road from its intersection with Service Road to its intersection with Redwood Road." Section 3. Title 11, Chapter 11.04, Section 11.04.060 (Forty-five miles per hour) of the Stanislaus County Code is hereby amended to repeal Subsection 113 (Toomes Road), and to add Subsection 150 (Monte Vista Avenue) to read as follows: "150. Monte Vista Avenue. On Monte Vista Avenue from its intersection with Quincy Road easterly to a point one thousand six hundred fifty feet west of the intersection of Monte Vista Avenue and Lester Road;" Section 4. Title 11, Chapter 11.04, Section 11.04.070 (Fifty miles per hour) of the Stanislaus County Code is hereby amended to repeal Subsection I (Monte Vista Avenue). Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect 30 days from and after the date of its passage, and before the expiration of 15 days after its passage, it shall be published once with the names of the members voting for and against the same in the Modesto Bee, a newspaper in the County of Stanislaus, State of California. Upon motion of Supervisor Grewal, seconded by Supervisor Withrow, the foregoing ordinance was passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Stanislaus, State of California, this 14th day of July 2026, by the following called vote: AYES: SUPERVISORS: B.
