Notice of Proposed Tentative Parcel Map A public hearing will be held by the Planning Commission of the City of Modesto at 6:00 pm on Monday, July 20, 2026, in chambers, 1010 Tenth Street, Modesto, California, regarding the application of Craig E. Spiess for a Tentative Parcel Map at 1205 E Whitmore Ave. The project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15301 (Existing Facilities), the proposed Tentative Parcel Map is exempt from CEQA because the project consists of dividing an industrial or commercially developed parcel into five (5) parcels, with no expansion of use, consistent with the General Plan, or variances or exceptions are required, has all city services, and access to a City approved streets. Staff have prepared a Notice of Exemption EA 2026-11. All persons interested are invited to attend the public hearing at the above time and place in person and will be given the opportunity to be heard. All interested persons are also invited to participate in the public hearing by submitting comments via email to planning@modestogov.com. If you challenge the proposed action in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning Commission at or prior to the public hearing.
