STANISLAUS COUNTY NOTICE OF INTENT TO ADOPT A CEQA MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION & CEQA NEGATIVE DECLARATION To adopt the following: 1) UP APP NO. PLN2021-0087 – JORDAO DAIRY – Request to increase the herd size from 1,985 mature cows to 3,990 & to allow construction of 3 loafing barns totaling 236,000± square-feet @ an existing dairy facility located on a 79.74± ac. parcel in the Gen. Ag. (A-2-40) zoning district. The property is located @ 6025 S. Central Ave., btwn Hilmar & Bradbury Rds., in the Turlock area. The PC will consider adoption of a CEQA Mit. Neg. Dec. for the project. APN: 057-004-013; and 2) UP APP. NO. PLN2024-0067 – CAL ALMOND – Request to permit an expansion of an existing almond hulling, shelling, & storage facility, to allow for the storage of sockpiles of almond hulls & shells on 2 adjacent parcels totaling 38.8± acs. in size, in the Gen. Ag. (A-2-40) zoning district. The project site is located @ 5019 Christofferson Rd., btwn South Commons & South Washington Rds., in the Turlock area. The PC will consider adoption of a CEQA Neg. Dec. for the project. APNs: 057-016-002, 057-016-025, 057-016-028 & 057-016-029. The review period for projects 1 & 2 is: MAY 15, 2026 to JUN 18, 2026.
