PUBLIC NOTICE CITY OF MODESTO – DRAFT PROHOUSING DESIGNATION PROGRAM APPLICATION AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC REVIEW NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Modesto has prepared a Draft Application for the Prohousing Designation Program and is inviting public review and comment. The Draft Application and supporting materials are available for public review for a period of 30 days, from May 15, 2026 through June 15, 2026, on the City's website at: https://www.modestogov.com/m/NewsFlash/home/detail/1691 A copy of the draft application is also available upon request by contacting the City of Modesto Community and Economic Development Department by phone at 209-577-5239 or by email at housing@modestogov.com. All interested persons interested in providing any feedback or written comments are invited to submit written comments on the draft application by June 15, 2026, before 5:00 PM to the Community & Economic Development Department at housing@modestogov.com or 209-577-5239, any weekday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. After the 30-day review period, all comments received will be considered by City staff and addressed, as appropriate, before the Draft Application is presented to City Council at a public hearing for approval to be submitted to HCD for formal review and scoring.
