NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING A public hearing will be held by the City Council of the City of Modesto on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., in the Chambers, Basement Level, Tenth Street Place, 1010 10th Street, Modesto, California, regarding an informational report of vacancies, recruitment, and retention efforts to comply with Assembly Bill 2561. All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing at the above time and place and will be given an opportunity to be heard, or by submitting your comment via e-mail to ccmeetings@modestogov.com. If you challenge the proposed action in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City Council at, or prior to, the public hearing. Assistance will be provided to those requiring accommodations for disabilities in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Persons requesting accommodation should contact the City in advance of the meeting.
