NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO AMEND TITLE 9, "BUILDING REGULATIONS" OF THE MODESTO MUNICIPAL CODE A public hearing will be held by the City Council of the City of Modesto at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, in The Chamber, Basement Level, 1010 Tenth Street, Modesto, California, to consider introduction of an Ordinance repealing and replacing Chapters 1, 2, 3, 7, and 11 of Title 9 of the Modesto Municipal Code to adopt by reference, the 2025 California Building, Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical, and Existing Building Codes. All persons interested are invited to attend the public hearing at the above time and place and will be given an opportunity to be heard.
