NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing will be held by the City Council of the City of Modesto on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 5:30 p.m in the Chambers, Basement Level, Tenth Street Place, 1010 10th Street, Modesto, California, regarding the application of Dhanda Development Group for a proposed Pinpoint Plan, Prezone and Annexation of 0.66 acres 1604 Kansas Ave. to Planned Development Zone P-D(616), together with rezone of 1600 Kansas Avenue from the C-3 Zone to Planned Development Zone P-D(616), to allow for the development of a new automatic car wash facility, property located at 1600 and 1604 Kansas Avenue. The Planning Commission recommended approval to the City Council at the May 5, 2025, Planning Commission meeting. The item was continued to a date uncertain at the regularly scheduled City Council hearing held on June 10, 2025. A Findings of Conformance report C&ED 204-10 was prepared to review the project's conformance to the City of Modesto Urban Area General Plan Master Environmental Impact Report (SCH No. 2014042081) to review CEQA impacts and mitigations. All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing at the above time and place and will be given an opportunity to be heard. If you challenge the proposed action in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City Council at, or prior to, the public hearing.
