NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: ANNUAL BUDGET ADOPTION OF THE STANISLAUS COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS (StanCOG) FISCAL YEAR 2026-27 OPERATING BUDGET FOR $5,829,754 AND THE MEASURE L ½ CENT SALES TAX BUDGET FOR $64,000,000 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a public hearing will be held on Wednesday, April 15th, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the StanCOG's Board Room, located at 1111 I Street, Modesto, CA during the regularly scheduled meeting of the StanCOG Policy Board to receive public testimony on the proposed StanCOG Operating budget in the proposed amount of $5,829,754 and the proposed Measure L ½ sales tax budget for Fiscal Year 2026-27 in the proposed amount of $64,000,000. The annual amounts are subject to revision prior to the public hearing. StanCOG is a Joint Powers Authority comprised of the Cities and County of Stanislaus County. StanCOG serves as the federally designated Metropolitan Planning Organization and the state designated Regional Transportation Planning Agency. StanCOG is further charged with administering Measure L ½ Sales Tax for Transportation. The StanCOG Policy Board is required to adopt an annual budget by June 30th for the upcoming fiscal years. The budget encompasses planned operations and capital projects for the Agency and for Measure L.
