Notice Inviting Bids NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Modesto City School District, California, acting by and through its Governing Board, hereinafter referred to as the District is requesting proposals, for the award of Erate contracts for the following: FY26, Form 470 #260008135 Category 2: Internal Connections- Cabling RFP #25-4840 Mandatory Cabling Job Walk (Form 470#260008135 CABLING ONLY): Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 9:30 AM at Fred C. Beyer High School 1717 Sylvan Ave., Modesto, CA 95355. Followed by four (4) other sites. Attendees must attend the full walk. Attendance will be taken at the beginning and the end of the meeting. Only vendors that attended the entirety of the walk will be qualified to submit an RFP response. Electronic proposals will be accepted up to but not later than, 10:00 AM PST January 20, 2026. The RFP and all addendum(s), questions and answers will be posted to the Erate EPC website at https://data.usac.org/publicreports/Forms/Form470Rfp/Index This is a Public Works project and will require Bonds and Insurance. Prevailing wage rates must be paid, and Certified Payroll Records submitted at the conclusion of the projects. This project requires the services of contractors holding a valid California C7 or C10 contractor's license that will be current for the entire installation. Contractor must be familiar with SB854 and its requirements. This is an Erate funded project. Vendor must participate in the E-Rate Program and must provide a Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN) and Federal Registration Number (FCC-FRN) with the proposal. This RFP is pursuant to Public Contract Codes 20118.2, 20111, and 22000. All public works projects shall be subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the department of industrial relations. Pursuant to California Labor Code sections 1725.5 and 1771.1 all public works contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the department of industrial relations. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informality in any proposals received, even with SLD funding approval. In addition, the district reserves the right to deny any or all proposals associated with this RFP, even with SLD funding approval.
