NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING A public hearing will be held by the City Council of the City of Modesto at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, in the Chambers, Basement Level, 1010 10th Street, Modesto, California, to consider adopting an Ordinance repealing and replacing Chapter 1 of Title 3 of the Modesto Municipal Code amending the City's Fire Code to adopt the 2025 California Fire Code. All persons interested are invited to attend the public hearing at the above time and place and will be given an opportunity to be heard. If you challenge the proposed Ordinance in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City Council at, or prior to, the public hearing.
