STANISLAUS COUNTY ORDINANCE C.S. 1405 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on November 4, 2025, at the 9:00 a.m. meeting, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, the Stanislaus County Board of Supervisors will meet in the Basement Chambers, 1010 10th St., Modesto, CA, to consider the adoption and the waiving of the second reading of Ordinance C.S. 1405 to repeal and replace Chapter 6.78 and adopt a new Chapter 6.78 of the Stanislaus County Code relating to regulation of commercial cannabis activities in the unincorporated area of Stanislaus County. The replacement and adoption reflect necessary changes resulting from the passage of Measure P, as codified in Chapter 4.75 of the Stanislaus County Code. These changes include updating definitions to conform with those in Chapter 4.75; eliminating the requirement for development agreements in commercial cannabis activities; recognizing the expanded duties of the Treasurer-Tax Collector following the passage and implementation of Measure P. Additionally, local regulations have been simplified to better align with state regulatory requirements.
