CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC A public hearing will be held by the Board of Trustees of the Bayfront Park Management Trust, a limited agency of the City of Miami, on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the City Hall, located at 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida, 33132 for the purpose of granting the following: A RESOLUTION OF THE BAYFRONT PARK MANAGEMENT TRUST ("TRUST"), WITH ATTACHMENT(S), BY A FOUR-FIFTHS (4/5) AFFIRMATIVE VOTE, APPROVING, AND CONFIRMING THE INTERIM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR's emergency finding, AS AGENCY HEAD, THAT A VALID PUBLIC EMERGENCY EXISTS PURSUANT TO SECTIONS 287.055(3)(A)1. AND 255.20(1)(C)1., FLORIDA STATUTES; WAIVING COMPETITIVE BIDDING REQUIREMENTS; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE INTERIM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO TAKE ANY AND ALL ACTIONS NECESSARY TO (1) SECURE THE PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE, INCLUDING DEMOLITION IF THE INTERIM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR FINDS THAT SUCH ACTION IS NECESSARY TO AVOID AN IMMEDIATE DANGER TO SAFETY, HEAL TH AND WELFARE OF THE PUBLIC AND THE TRUST, (2) SHORING AND REPAIR OF THE WALL OF THE TUNNEL WALKWAY LEADING TO THE AMPHITHEATER AND THE WALL ADJACENT TO THE LASER TOWER, (3) SHORING AND REPAIR OF WALLS IN BETWEEN THE BRIDGES, (4) SHORING AND REPAIR OF THE ROOF OF THE OFFICE WHERE THE MIAMI DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY IS STORING ITEMS (5) UNDERTAKE AND COMPLETE CoNSTRUCTION TO BECOME COMPLIANT WITH THE TRUST's 40 YEAR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS; FURTHER PROVIDING THAT ALL ACTIONS TAKEN SHALL BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS to waive THE COMPETITIVE sealed bidding procedures AND QUALIFICATIONS PROCESS PURSUANT TO f.s. 287.055, 3(A)1, THE CITY'S PROCUREMENT ORDINANCE AND THE CITY CODE, AS AMENDED. The Board of Directors of the Bayfront Park Management Trust requests all interested parties be present or represented at the meeting and may be heard with respect to any proposition before the Board of Directors in which the Board of Directors may take action. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the Board of Directors with respect to any matter to be considered at this meeting, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal may be based (F.S. 286.0105).
