CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI NOTICE OF GENERAL ELECTION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a General Election for the City of South Miami for Mayor for a four (4) year term, Commissioner Group I for a four (4) year term, and Commissioner Group IV for a four (4) year term, will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. in conjunction with Miami-Dade County and the National General Elections. Voting will take place at the following locations: Precincts 605.0 & 606.0 South Miami American Legion #31, 7710 SW 59th Avenue, South Miami, FL 33143 Precinct 621.0 Gibson Bethel Community Center, 5800 SW 66th Street, South Miami, FL 33143 Precinct 623.0 One City Church, 6750 Sunset Drive, South Miami, FL 33143 Precinct 652.0 Iglesia Cristiana Comunidad de Esperanza, 6330 Bird Road, Miami, FL 33155 If required, a Run-off Election will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2026, at the same locations. Candidate Qualifying Period for this election begins Monday, July 27, 2026, and ends Friday, August 7, 2026. Candidate qualifying begins each day at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. sharp.
