SPECIAL BOARD MEETING

PURPOSE: to engage in a discussion and to provide further direction with the Board's Consultant regarding a community engagement update and facilitate the discussion regarding the Board's approach to semi-finalists and finalists interview formats and structures during the Superintendent search process; and to facilitate discussion regarding the Board's evaluation criteria and interview protocols as well as any outstanding decision points for the Board to make with respect to semi-finalist and finalist rounds, vetting, and background checks. This Special Meeting conducted by The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida, is provided in accordance with Section 1001.372, Florida Statutes. There may be action by the Board on other items such as Personnel, Finance, and other programs. A copy of the agenda will be available no later than 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 17, 2026.
