Notice of Application for the Merger of Small Business Lending, LLC with and into Newtek Bank, National Association Notice is given that application has been made to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (the "FDIC"), Atlanta Regional Offices, 10 10th Street NE, Suite 900, Atlanta, GA 30309-3849, on June 5, 2026, for the approval of the FDIC to merge Small Business Lending, LLC, a wholly owned operating subsidiary of Newtek Bank, National Association ("Newtek Bank"), with and into Newtek Bank, with Newtek Bank as the surviving entity and continuing as a national banking association (the "Merger"). Notice also is given that application has been made to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (the "OCC"), Miami Office, 9850 NW 41 Street, Suite 260, Miami, FL 33178, on June 5, 2026, for the approval of the OCC for the Merger. This notice is published pursuant to 12 U.S.C. § 1828(c), 12 C.F.R Part 5 and 12 C.F.R. Part 303. Anyone may submit written comments on these applications to the regional director of the FDIC at the Atlanta Regional Offices located at 10 10th Street NE, Suite 900, Atlanta, GA 30309-3849, and/or to the Director of District Licensing at the OCC's Miami Office located at 9850 NW 41 Street, Suite 260, Miami, FL 33178, not later than July 7, 2026. The non-confidential portions of the FDIC application are on file at the appropriate FDIC office and are available for public inspection during regular business hours.
