Public Notice DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROPOSED AMENDED ANNUAL PUBLIC HOUSING AGENCY (PHA) PLAN FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026–2027 NOTICE OF PLAN STATUS AND PROPOSED AMENDMENT: IMPORTANT NOTICE: The primary Annual Public Housing Agency (PHA) Plan for Fiscal Year 2026–2027 is currently pending final approval from the Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners (BCC), with a scheduled hearing date of June 2, 2026. Following BCC approval, the Annual PHA Plan will be formally submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for final federal review and approval. PROPOSED AMENDMENT: Concurrent with this process, notice is hereby given that the Miami-Dade County Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) is proposing an Amendment to the Annual PHA Plan for Fiscal Year 2026–2027. This amendment proposes the utilization of demolition, disposition, and/or a Section 18/Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) Blend option (RAD conversion) for the following properties: Scott Carver Phase 2A, Phase 2B, and Phase 2C. COMMENT PERIOD Miami-Dade Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) hereby advertises a 45-day comment period beginning May 29, 2026, through July 12, 2026, for the public to review and comment on the proposed Amendment to the Annual PHA Plan for Fiscal Year 2026–2027.
