Public Notice The Miami-Dade County Developmental Impact Committee Executive Council will review the following applications at the Stephen P. Clark Center, located at 111 NW 1st Street, 11th Floor Conference Room, on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 10:00AM. The applications to be reviewed are as follows: DIC Zoning Educational Facilities Review Subcommittee: Purpose: Florida law allows charter school facilities to developed in the same manner as non-charter public school facilities, including utilizing any interlocal agreements that a local government may have with the local school district. Pursuant to an interlocal agreement with the School Board of Miami-Dade County, Miami-Dade County Resolution No. R-678-06 directs the Developmental Impact Committee (DIC) to review public educational facilities. The resolution further states that the DIC is authorized and directed to designate an Educational Facilities Review Sub-Committee (the “Sub- Committee”) to review these applications. The Sub-Committee is composed of the following members as described R-678-06: • Lourdes M. Gomez, AICP, Director, Department of Regulatory & Economic Resources • Stacy Miller, P.E., Director of Miami-Dade County’s Department of Transportation and Public Works • Eric Silva, AICP, Assistant Director for Development Services ASPR# Z2026000033 Applicant: My Academy Preschool & Learning Center II, LLC – Charter School Request: The Property is approved for a day care center and private school facility previously approved pursuant to Zoning Resolution No. CZAB14-3 -22. The facility is currently operating as a Charter School serving up to 300 students in grades Pre K through 5. The Applicant now seeks to further revise the approved plans by converting a portion of the covered terrace into an enclosed terrace/dining area space and seeking approval for an increase in student enrollment from 300 to 360 students. Location: Southwest corner of SW 127th Avenue and SW 216th Street, a/k/a 12700 SW 216th Street / Folio No. 30 6914 000 0021.
