OPA-LOCKA COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS TO LEASE COMMERCIAL SPACE Pursuant to Section 163.380, Florida Statutes, notice is hereby given that the Opa-locka Community Redevelopment Agency (“OCRA”) intends, during the 2025-26 Fiscal Year, to enter a long-term ground lease of up to 99 years for all the following OCRA owned property, as listed below and illustrated in the map: 241 Opa-locka Blvd, Opa-locka, Florida 33054; 240 Bahman Ave, Opa-locka, Florida 33054;291 Opa-locka Blvd, Opa-locka, Florida 33054;861 Salih St, Opa-locka, Florida 33054;391 Opa-locka Blvd, Opa-locka, Florida 33054; and 879 Fisherman St, Opa-locka, Florida 33054 The OCRA intends to enter a long-term lease for the development of the OCRA property with a qualified developer for commercial uses. The developer shall be based in Florida and demonstrate an ability to develop underutilized and abandoned properties in a manner consistent with the OCRA’s redevelopment plan. Authorized commercial uses are only those uses permitted within the City of Opa-locka’s existing zoning districts that are applicable for the respective business locations. Any party interested in entering a long-term lease for all of the above-referenced OCRA property is hereby notified that proposals must be submitted in writing to the OCRA, Attention: Jason Walker, CRA Interim Executive Director, 780 Fisherman St, Opa-locka, FL 33054. Further information regarding this notice is available by contacting the OCRA at (305-953- 2868 ext 1252) jsenior@opalockafl.gov. Proposals must be in writing and received by the OCRA within thirty, (30) days of publication of this notice. The OCRA reserves the right to accept any proposal and to negotiate a lease with any selected proposers, and/or to reject any or all proposal(s) at the sole discretion of the OCRA. In the event that the OCRA does not receive any proposals in response to this notice,or in the event that all proposals received by the OCRA are rejected, the OCRA reserves the right to seek, negotiate, and accept proposals deemed to be in the public interest from any other person or entity without further notice.
