Public Hearing NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED SUBSTANTIAL AMENDMENT TO THE FY 2019 ACTION PLAN AND THE CORRESPONDING FY 2013-2017 CONSOLIDATED PLAN, AS EXTENDED THROUGH FY 2019, TO RECAPTURE AND REALLOCATE CORONAVIRUS, AID, RELIEF, AND ECONOMIC SECURITY ACT (CARES ACT) COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG-CV) FUNDS PUBLIC NOTICE INFORMATION The Miami-Dade County Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) will hold a public hearing on Tuesday May 27, 2026, at 11:00am, in person at the Overtown Transit Village (OTV) 1st floor Training Room, 701 NW 1st Court, Miami, Florida 33136. The purpose of the hearing is to allow the public an opportunity to comment on the Substantial Amendments to the FY 2019 Action Plan and Corresponding FY 2013-2017 Consolidated Plan, as extended through 2019, for the following actions: • Recapture an amount up to $345,000 in CDBG-CV funds from the CDBG Administration activity • Reallocate an amount up to of $345,000 in CDBG-CV funds to Miami Dade College for the Miami Dade College Job Training activity for contract period of 3/1/2022 to 9/30/2025 The proposed Substantial Amendment described above will be available online for review beginning April 27, 2026, at: https://www.miamidade.gov/global/housing/requests.page The public is invited to provide public comments.
