PUBLIC NOTICE ADVERTISEMENT & INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB) No. TAC-R EA-206A United Gate Power at Miami International Airport Concourses G and H BID OPENING DATE: May 11, 2026 United Airlines, Inc ("United") is seeking services for three (3) separate and distinct workstreams on our Tenant Airport Construction Reimbursable (TAC-R) project EA-206A United Gate Power at MIA CC-H and CC-G, in conjunction with Miami-Dade Aviation Department ("MDAD"), their consultants, and the Miami-Dade Building & Permit department. Project Details: United will be adding in-seat power modules for customer personal device charging to existing holdroom seating in five (5) holdrooms at Miami International Airport ("MIA") at gates G14, H12, H14, H15 and H17. Total duration of project is 6 months (May – October 2026). United will be initiating three (3) separate Request for Proposals ("RFP") using our online procurement portal Coupa for the following services: RFP 1 - Permitting Consultant Services – provide guidance and facilitate the design, permitting, future electrical RFP, MDAD reporting & reimbursement process, and close-out in conjunction with United's Project Manager ("United PM"). RFP 2 - Architectural and Engineering Services – develop 100% electrical drawings and architectural holdroom seat layouts, plus minor construction administration and as-builts. RFP 3 – Equipment Procurement & Installation – provide & install specified number (<400) of in-seat power modules with both standard and USB charging ports to existing holdroom seating. Qualified firms interested in any of the 3 upcoming RFPs need to email United's PM, Renee Burton, at renee.burton@united.com before 5:00 pm EDT on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 to indicate their intent to bid and to be included in the electronic RFP. Email Subject Line should state "TAC-R EA-206A Intent to Bid RFP #1" (or #2 or #3, as applicable). It is at United's sole discretion to consider any "intent to bid" email requests received after 5p on April 22, 2026. Each separate RFP is tentatively scheduled to open on Thursday, April 23, 2026, and close on Monday, May 11, 2026, at noon EDT. Complete proposal responses must be submitted electronically in the manner detailed in the RFP documents, and in no other manner. Bids submitted in any other manner, or after RFP close, will not be considered. Bids will be opened and evaluations will start the afternoon of Monday, May 11. Prior experience working on projects at MIA and familiarity with MDAD policies and procedures are highly preferred. Proposals are to be based on Time & Materials, and need to show projected hours/durations, projected additional services (as needed), projected reimbursable expenses, and exclusions. Monthly invoices are to be submitted directly to and be paid by United, who will then package these for reimbursement by MDAD. IPL0329987 Apr 10 2026
