PUBLIC HEARING The Governing Board of the Transportation Planning Organization (TPO), in its role as the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the Miami Urbanized Area will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. in the TPO Governing Board Chambers, Museum Tower Building, 150 West Flagler Street, Suite 1924, Miami, Florida, for the purpose of considering the following: 1. Fiscal Years 2027-2031 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) The TIP details in a single document all surface transportation improvements in the metropolitan area scheduled for the next five years. Funding for the transportation improvements include federal, state, and local transportation sources proposed in the TIP for the upcoming five-year cycle. 2. Fiscal Years 2026-2030 TIP Amendment: Addition of the Marlin Road Expansion Project, Financial Management #451290-2 The planned improvements along the Marlin Road corridor include: • Installation of 10 foot wide high-visibility crosswalks • Construction of pedestrian refuge within the medians • Installation of 5 foot wide sidewalks/Americans with Disabilities Act compliant ramps • Installation of bike lanes or share-the-road signage • Installation of pedestrian lighting All interested parties are invited to attend.
