Notice of Public Hearings and Adoption of Ordinances Amending the Pinecrest
Comprehensive Development Master Plan
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village Council of the Village of Pinecrest, Florida, sitting in its capacity as the Local Planning Agency (LPA) will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., at the Pinecrest Municipal Center, 12645 Pinecrest Parkway, Pinecrest, Florida, or as soon as possible thereafter. The purpose of the public meeting is to consider make recommendations to the Village Council regarding the below proposed ordinances.
Please note that following the meeting of the LPA, the Village Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, 6:00 p.m. at the Pinecrest Municipal Center, Council Chamber, 12645 Pinecrest Parkway, Pinecrest, Florida, or as soon as possible thereafter, to consider taking action on first reading of the below proposed ordinances.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, ADOPTING THE EVALUATION AND APPRAISAL REPORT (EAR) BASED COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT MASTER PLAN AMENDMENTS, INCLUDING UPDATES TO THE VILLAGE’S WATER SUPPLY FACILITIES WORK PLAN; PROVIDING FOR INCLUSION IN THE COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT MASTER PLAN; PROVIDING FOR TRANSMITTAL; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE VILLAGE’S COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT MASTER PLAN FUTURE LAND USE MAP (FLUM) BY APPROVING A SMALL-SCALE AMENDMENT EXPANDING THE PINECREST BUSINESS ALTERNATIVE DISTRICT (PBAD) BOUNDARIES TO INCLUDE THE PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 10420 SW 77 AVENUE AND 10500 SW 77 COURT (FOLIO NUMBERS 20-5010-006-0020 AND 20-5010-001-0020); PROVIDING FOR TRANSMITTAL; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR INCLUSION IN THE COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT MASTER PLAN; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
All interested parties are encouraged to participate. Meetings will be live-streamed at www.pinecrest-fl.gov/ live. Those not attending in person may submit written public comments in advance via email to planning@pinecrest-fl.gov, or participate via Zoom by requesting access at clerk@pinecrest -fl.gov before 12:00 noon on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, all persons who are disabled and who need special accommodations to participate in this meeting because of that disability should contact the Village Clerk at 305-234-2121 not later than two business days prior to such proceeding.
Should any person decide to appeal any decision of the Village Council with respect to any matter to be considered at this meeting, that person shall insure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal may be based (F.S. 286.0105).
