MIAMI REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PUBLIC SERVICES GRANT
The City of North Miami (City) is informing the general public that not-for-profit Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) may submit proposals for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Public Services funding for Fiscal Year (FY) 2026-2027 beginning Monday, April 6, 2026, to Friday, May 1, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
Responses to this Request for Proposal (RFP) must be submitted online through the following link: https://portal.neighborlysoftware.com/northmiami/participant and will be available for access beginning on Monday, April 6, 2026.
Public Services activities are funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through the CDBG program. Eligible Public Services activities under the CDBG program include, but are not limited to, employment services (e.g. workforce training and job placement services), crime prevention, childcare, health services, housing counseling, education programs, financial literacy, energy conservation, services for senior citizens, youth summer internship program, etc. CDBG Public Services funding can be used for a range of eligible activities that meet the national objectives.
A mandatory workshop to provide technical assistance for proposal submission will be conducted on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Scott Galvin Center, 1600 NE 126th Street, North Miami, FL 33181.
The total approved allocation for FY 2026-2027 Public Services funding is $90,000. Please refer all questions prior to the submission deadline, May 1, 2026, to:
