CITY OF MIAMI BEACH NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING AND NOTICE OF A THIRTY (30) DAY PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT NEEDS AND FUNDING RECOMMENDATIONS PUBLIC HEARING: To obtain input and comments regarding the City's housing and community development needs based on the recommendations for funding of Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) and Home Investment Partnership Program (HOME) funds for FY 2026. The Public Hearing will be held during the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee meeting. Interested residents and other parties are encouraged to provide their comments at the public hearing or submit them in writing to the City of Miami Beach, Office of Housing and Community Services, 1700 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, FL 33139 or by e-mail to: Claudiaabreu@miamibeachfl.gov. "Pursuant to Fla. Stat. 286.015, the City hereby advises the public that: if a person decides to appeal any decision made by this Board, Agency or Commission, with respect to any matter considered at its meeting or hearing, he will need a record of the proceedings, and that for such purpose, affected person may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is based. This notice does not constitute consent by the City for the introduction or admission or otherwise inadmissible or irrelevant evidence, nor does it authorize challenges or appeals not otherwise allowed by law."
