Announces the Deletion of the Miami Drum Services Superfund Site in Miami, FL
from the National Priorities List
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announces the deletion of the Miami Drum Services Superfund Site in Miami, FL, from the National Priorities List (NPL), which is Appendix B of the National Oil and Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan (NCP). EPA and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) have determined that all appropriate responses under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), as amended, have been implemented for this deletion. EPA and the FDEP have determined that remedial actions conducted at the Site to date have been protective of public health, welfare, and the environment. However, this deletion does not preclude future actions under Superfund. To view the Federal Register notice please visit https://www.regulations.gov/docket/EPA-HQ-OLEM-2026-0003. The public is invited to comment on the proposed deletion of the Site from the NPL. Written comments should be received by the end of the comment period April 3, 2026.
