INVITATION TO BID (ITB)
SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEM
Centro Campesino Farmworker Center, Inc., (Centro) is seeking lump sum contract bids from qualified licensed Contractors for the provision of a solar energy system (solar panels and battery) at its two-story building located at 35801 SW 186 Ave. Florida City, FL 33034, including all required permitting, and in compliance with local regulations.
This project, in whole or in part, will be assisted with Federal funding and as such bidder must comply with all applicable federal labor laws and regulations, and with all requirements for state, and local laws and ordinances to the extent that such requirements do not conflict with federal laws and will be required to comply with federal labor standards, including but not limited to:
Labor Standards Provisions of 29 C.F.R. Part 5
Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act of 1962, as amended (40 U.S.C. 3701- 3708)
Federal Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, as amended (29 U.S.C. 201-219)
Copeland "Anti-Kickback" Act (18 U.S.C. 874).
In addition bidder will be required to comply with State of Florida requirements, including but not limited to: Employment Eligibility Verification (448.095, F.S.)
The bidder is required to pay workers on this project the minimum wages as determined in the Wage Determination Decision included in the Bid package, and the contractor must ensure that employees are not discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
Centro reserves the right to reject any or all general bids if it is in the public interest to do so, and to reject any bid if it determines that such a bid does not represent the bid of a person competent to perform the work as specified or that less than two such bids were received, and that the prices are not reasonable for acceptance.

Bid packages for this project will be accepted from eligible bidders by email at grazianisteve@gmail.com, with a copy to jbarrios@ccfcfl.org, until EOD, Monday, April 20, 2026. Late submissions will not be considered.
