Public Notice Hybrid Public Meeting Notice is hereby given that Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) has scheduled a hybrid public meeting regarding the Venetian Causeway Bridge Replacement from North Bayshore Drive to Purdy Avenue, Project 20210011. Date: Wednesday, March 18, 2026 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. IN PERSON ATTENDANCE: 1000 Venetian Way (in the Clubhouse) Miami Beach, Florida 33139 The meeting will be conducted to provide area residents and businesses with information related to the design phase of the project and to present plans and other pertinent information developed by DTPW. The project consists of replacing existing bridges which are moderately to severely deteriorated including fixed bridges 2 through 9, 11-12 and bascule bridge 10. Improvements will raise bridges to mitigate against sea-level rise, widen spoil islands to original footprint, wider sidewalks, new bicycle lanes and relocate utilities. It will also improve the overall safety of the corridor and provide wider green areas for recreational use.
