CITY OF HIALEAH NOTICE is given that all parties within Miami-Dade County are hereby advised that the City of Hialeah is applying to the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for a Capital Grant under Section 5310 of the Federal Transit Act of 1991, as amended, for the purchase of a twelve (12) plus two wheelchair or six (6) wheelchair passenger cutaway vehicle; to be used for the provision of Transit Services within the City of Hialeah and Miami-Dade County area. This Notice is to provide an opportunity for a Public Hearing regarding this Project. This Public Notice is intended to ensure that the proposed project and contemplated services will not duplicate current or proposed services provided by existing Transit or Paratransit Operators in the area. This Hearing will be conducted if and only if a written request for the hearing is received on or before March 12, 2026.
