Public Hearing NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED SUBSTANITIAL AMENDMENT TO THE FY 2019 ACTION PLAN AND THE CORRESPONDING FY 2013-2017 CONSOLIDATED PLAN, AS EXTENDED THROUGH FY 2019, TO RECAPTURE AND REALLOCATE CORONAVIRUS, AID, RELIEF, AND ECONOMIC SECURITY ACT (CARES ACT) COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG-CV) FUNDS PUBLIC NOTICE INFORMATION Miami Dade County Housing and Community Development Department (HCD) will hold a public hearing for actions described below on Monday, February 9, 2026, in person starting at 2:00 pm. The hearing will be held at the Overtown Transit Village (OTV) 1st Floor Training Room, 701 NW 1st Court, Miami, FL. 33136. The purpose of this hearing is to allow the public an opportunity to comment on the substantial amendment to the FY 2019 Action Plan and Corresponding FY 2013-2017 Consolidated Plan, as extended through 2019, for the recapture and reallocation of CDBG-CV funds. The public shall have an opportunity to comment on the following proposed actions: • Recapture $472,985.70 of CDBG-CV funds from various activities and reallocate to Miami- Dade County Department of Housing and Community Development for Public Housing Vacant Unit Reoccupancy Prep. and CARES Act Programming, as described in the CDBG-CV Recapture Recommendation spreadsheet “Exhibit A” and CDBG-CV Reallocation Recommendation spreadsheet “Exhibit B”.
