Miami Beach, FL Notice of Temporary Change to the Drawbridge Operating Schedule
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) received a request to temporarily change the drawbridge operation regulation 33 CFR 117.293 that governs the State Road (S.R.) 907/63 Street Bridge across Indian Creek, mile 4.0, at Miami Beach, FL. In response to this request, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is authorized to implement a temporary deviation from the bridge’s operating schedule.
Under this temporary deviation, the (S.R.) 907/63 Street Bridge will operate as follows from Wednesday, February 4, at 7 a.m. to Wednesday, February 19, at 7 a.m.: • Every day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (except on federal holidays): The bridge will only
open on the hour and half-hour. • Monday through Friday, from 7:10 a.m. to 9:55 a.m. and 4:05 p.m. to 6:59 p.m.: The
bridge does not need to open for boats during these times. • Every day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: The bridge only needs to open for 10 minutes at the
start of each hour. During this event, vehicle traffic may be delayed up to 10 minutes at the top of every hour between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Marine vehicles should expect long delays throughout this period of time. Please note, government vessels, tugboats (including those towing other vessels) and any vessel in distress will still be allowed to pass at any time.

In response, FDOT is authorized to perform a temporary deviation of bridge operation.
