PUBLIC HEARING The Governing Board of the Transportation Planning Organization (TPO), in its role as the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the Miami Urbanized Area will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. in the TPO Governing Board Chambers, Museum Tower Building, 150 West Flagler Street, Suite 1924, Miami, Florida, for the purpose of considering the following: 1. Fiscal Years (FY’s) 2026-2030 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Amendment: Removal of the Town of Miami Lakes Sidewalks Improvement Project, Financial Project Identification #436618-2 This amendment will remove the project from the TIP as requested by the Town of Miami Lakes due to the substantial decrease in both scope and length. 2. FY’s 2026-2030 TIP Amendment: Removal of the SW 157 Avenue Roadway Improvement Project, Financial Project Identification #454981-1 This amendment will remove the SW 157 Avenue Roadway Improvement Project from SW 42nd Street to SW 8th Street, from the TIP. The project has been fully funded through state and local resources, eliminating the need for federal funding. 3. FY’s 2026-2030 TIP Amendment: Addition of the Florida Department of Transportation Districts 6 and 4 Commuter Services Project, Financial Management #457386-1 This amendment will provide additional funding for the South Florida Commuter Services Program, to fund basic and optional services and supports core program operations.
