PUBLIC NOTICE Brickell Avenue Bridge Operating Schedule Temporary Change A temporary operation schedule deviation will be implemented at the Brickell Avenue Bridge across the Miami River. The Brickell Avenue Bridge will not open for boat traffic during the following times: • Wednesday, December 31, 2025, from 10 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. • Thursday, January 1, 2026, from 12:15 a.m. until 1 a.m. Please note, government vessels, tugboats (including those towing other vessels) and any vessel in distress will still be allowed to pass at any time. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) received the request above to temporarily change the drawbridge operation regulation 33 CFR 117.305(b) that governs the Brickell Avenue Bridge, across the Miami River, mile 0.1, at Miami, Florida. In response, FDOT is authorized to perform a temporary deviation of bridge operation.
