PUBLIC NOTICE State Road (S.R.) 933/NW 12 Avenue Drawbridge Operating Schedule Temporary Change A temporary operation schedule deviation will be implemented at the S.R. 933/ NW 12 Avenue Drawbridge across the Miami River to facilitate vehicular traffic for ingress and egress of the 2026 NHL Winter Classic. On Friday, January 2, 2026, the NW 12th Avenue Bridge will not open for boat traffic during the following times: • 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. • 10:30 p.m. to midnight Please note, government vessels, tugboats (including those towing other vessels) and any vessel in distress will still be allowed to pass at any time. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) received the request above to temporarily change the drawbridge operation regulation 33 CFR 117.305(b) that governs the State Road (SR) 933/NW 12 Avenue Bridge across the Miami River, mile 2.1, at Miami, FL. In response, FDOT is authorized to perform a temporary deviation of bridge operation.
