Public Notice Proposed Plan for OU-33 Homestead Air Reserve Base, Florida As part of the Air Force's Environmental Restoration Program at Homestead Air Reserve Base (HARB), the Air Force and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) has prepared a No Action Proposed Plan at Operable Unit (OU) 33, Former Grenade Range/Explosive Ordnance Disposal Range. When no release is identified, no contamination is reported, or low levels of contamination do not pose risk and do not affect current or proposed future land use, multiple response action alternatives do not have to be developed and analyzed under The Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA). Therefore, this document proposes No Action and summarizes the data from the investigations that support this proposed response at OU-33. The Proposed Plan provides background information for OU-33 and information about historical investigations at the site. The plan also describes the various community participation activities available to the public.
